Previous Events

In Fore_Front's kickoff event, we heard from a panel of industry experts on web accessibility best practices, the role of design and development, cultural transformations and impacts on accessibility, and much more!

In Fore_Front’s second event, featured speaker Eli Fitch showed us how to leverage perceived performance – that is, how the user thinks the site is performing – to make better web experiences. Using the backdrop of human psychology and innate perceptions of time, Eli unveiled tips and tricks to manage perceived loading time (and more). We also featured four lightning talks from devs in the community on some exciting topics.

In Fore_Front’s third (Halloween-themed) event, we explored tricks and treatments to address problems that all front-enders share. Talks included: “Fear and Loathing in Front End”, “Bugs That Git Bisect In The Night”, “Navigating the Scary World of JavaScript in 2018”, and “Thinking Functionally”.
